     I do not think that democratic activity should promote the spread of democracy to nondemocratic nations. 

     The first reason is that democracy is not perfect. For example, in an aging society, the worth of one vote is not equal because the votes of the elderly people have been surpassing the votes of the young people. This means that it is easier for elderly people to enjoy the benefits of democracy because they can support the politicians who promise to make policies for them in the election which will allow them to win. 

     The second reason is that there is a possibility that a new system which is superior to democracy will be born. Therefore, promoting nondemocratic nations to become democratic ones may prevent this from being developed. 

     The third reason is that democracy is the system wherein the majority opinion of the people is justice. It is an unfair system for the minority. For instance, when young people discuss a problem with the elderly, young people basically cannot win over them because there are fewer of them. 

     For all the reasons above, although I cannot give a better alternative to democracy, it is a wrong idea that democratic activity should promote the spread of democracy to nondemocratic nations. (208 words)

　私は、民主主義活動が非民主主義国家への民主主義の普及を促進するべきではないと思います。

　第一の理由は、民主主義が完全ではないということです。例えば、高齢化社会では、高齢者の投票数が若者の投票数を上回っているため、1票の価値は等しくありません。これは、高齢者が、選挙で勝利を可能にする政策を立てることを約束する政治家を支援できるため、民主主義の恩恵を享受しやすいことを意味します。

　第二の理由は、民主主義よりも優れた新しい制度が生まれる可能性があるからです。したがって、非民主主義国家を民主主義国家に奨励することは、これが発展するのを妨げるかもしれません。

　第三の理由は、民主主義は国民の多数意見が正義であるというシステムであるということです。それは少数派にとって不公平なシステムです。たとえば、若者が高齢者と問題について話し合うとき、若者は基本的に数が少ないので彼らに勝つことはできません。

　上記のすべての理由から、私は民主主義に代わるより良い選択肢を与えることはできませんが、民主主義活動が非民主主義国家への民主主義の普及を促進するべきであるというのは間違った考えです。
