Can restrictions on freedom of speech ever be justified?



     I do not think restrictions on freedom of speech can ever be justified. I have three reasons for this. 
     The first reason is that if it was restricted by law, the people who have power, like politicians or police can easily conceal the information they do not want to reveal. For example, the Japanese government did not reveal true information about World War Ⅱ, by restricting freedom of speech about the situation. So most of the Japanese people could not fully judge it without the correct information. 
      The second reason is that, people should judge things after getting complete information. For that, the Internet is helpful. Some people may say, that information on the Internet is not believable, because you do not know who wrote it exactly, but there are some advantages. Anybody can write their own opinions freely, so there are a lot of chances to know the truth, except for people in power or the media. Authorities cannot misuse or use the opinions if there is freedom of speech. 
     The third reason is that, people should be given a chance to know about everything they would like to know. There are wrong or biased information among what others say or have said on the Internet, but they should not be restrained. People should refer to their opinions and decide which opinions should be accepted by themselves. 
     For these above reasons above, I believe that it is not right and restrictions on freedom of speech can not be justified. (250 words)

　言論の自由の制限を正当化できるとは思いません。これには3つの理由があります。
　第一の理由は、法律で制限されていれば、政治家や警察のように権力を持っている人は、明らかにしたくない情報を簡単に隠すことができるからです。たとえば、日本政府は、状況についての言論の自由を制限することによって、第二次世界大戦についての真の情報を明らかにしませんでした。そのため、ほとんどの日本人は正しい情報なしではそれを完全に判断することができませんでした。
　第二の理由は、人々は完全な情報を得た後に物事を判断する必要があるということです。そのためには、インターネットが役に立ちます。誰が正確に書いたのかわからないので、インターネット上の情報は信じられないと言う人もいるかもしれませんが、いくつかの利点があります。誰でも自由に意見を書くことができるので、権力者やマスコミ以外に、真実を知る機会がたくさんあります。言論の自由がある場合、当局は意見を悪用または使用することはできません。
　第三の理由は、人々は彼らが知りたいことすべてについて知る機会を与えられるべきであるということです。他の人がインターネット上で言ったり言ったりしたことの中に間違った、または偏った情報がありますが、それらは抑制されるべきではありません。人々は自分の意見を参照し、どの意見を自分で受け入れるべきかを決定する必要があります。
　上記の理由から、それは正しくなく、言論の自由の制限を正当化することはできないと私は信じています。
