Agree or disagree: Japan will benefit overall from hosting the 2020 Summer Olympics.




     I think that Japan will benefit overall from hosting the 2020 Summer Olympics. I have three reasons to justify my opinion. 
     The first reason is that many people would come to Japan in order to watch the events. It is a good opportunity for them to discover Japan. As a result, it is expected that the tourism industry will make more money in the future because of foreign visitors. 
     The second reason is that Japan needs to prepare to welcome people from other countries. Japan needs to employ people who are good at speaking other languages such as English and Chinese. We have already noticed that there is a shortage of good speakers of English in Japan, even though schools teach English for at least six years. In spite of that, Japan has not been able to make other languages popular. By hosting the Summer Olympics, Japanese people will realize that it is important to be fluent in other languages. 
     The third reason is that Japan can get feedback from the people living in other countries. Japan will be forced to find out what is good or bad in Japan. This will bring about positive changes in Japan. 
     Due to these three reasons, in my opinion, Japan hosting the 2020 Summer Olympics will be a benefit overall. (217 words)

　日本は2020年の夏季オリンピックを主催することで全体的に恩恵を受けると思います。私の意見を妥当なものとする理由は3つあります。
　第一の理由は、イベントを見るために多くの人が日本に来るからです。彼らにとって日本を発見する良い機会です。その結果、観光産業は外国人観光客のおかげで将来より多くのお金を稼ぐことが期待されています。
　第二の理由は、日本は他国からの人々を歓迎する準備をする必要があるということです。日本は英語や中国語など他の言語を話すのが得意な人を雇う必要があります。学校は少なくとも6年間英語を教えていますが、日本では英語を上手に話す人が不足していることにすでに気づいています。それにもかかわらず、日本は他の言語を普及させることができませんでした。夏季オリンピックを開催することで、日本人は他の言語に堪能であることが重要であることに気付くでしょう。
　第三の理由は、日本は他国に住む人々からフィードバックを得ることができるということです。日本は、日本で何が良いのか、何が悪いのかを見極めることを余儀なくされます。これは日本に前向きな変化をもたらすでしょう。
　これら3つの理由から、2020年夏季オリンピックを開催する日本は全体としてメリットがあると思います。
